Italian Grand Prix, Monza FRI 01 SEP - SUN 03 SEP 2023
This race starts in:

Italian Grand Prix Monza – 01-03 September 2024

The Italian Grand Prix is the 14th stage of the Formula 1 race in the season 2024. From September 01 to 03, the world’s best pilots will compete for the victory at the Monza circuit. On September 6th, demonstrations are scheduled. The next day will be the day of qualifying. And on September 8th, the main race will take place.

Teams and their pilots will compete at the Monza circuit which is one of the oldest racing sports complexes, built in 1922. The first competition under the auspices of Formula 1 was held in Monza in 1950. In total, the Italian sports complex has taken 68 stages of the “royal race”. The configuration of the circuit is unusual. There are almost no usual sharp turns. But there are many straight sections. Therefore, this circuit is considered one of the fastest. The race cars with a powerful engine and good aerodynamics have an advantage on it.

From 1950 to 2018, the Italian circuit took Formula1 pilots 68 times. During this time, more than a dozen riders managed to climb the highest runway podium. For some participants, this auto race was the last… The most successful team is Ferrari. The Italian “stable” exceeded 18 times on this highway. Two pilots at once, German Michael Schumacher and Briton Lewis Hamilton, share the title of the most successful riders. They scored 5 wins. And the British race car driver won the last Grand Prix.

The F1 Italian Grand Prix has always been considered as the home turf of Ferrari – one of the most iconic sports teams in the world. However, the Italian giant has not had much to write about of late. Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, and Daniel Ricciardo are seen as having a greater chance of success at Formula 1 Italy 2019 than the Ferrari duo of Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel. Ferrari is yet to win a race this season.

Nico Rosberg f1

Nico Rosberg

Rosberg will be kicking himself for having lost a sizable advantage from the early part of the campaign. He started out extremely well in the opening five races. After the end of the Spanish Grand Prix, Rosberg seemed to be heading for a first Drivers’ Championship title because of his 43-point lead. Hamilton, though, has fabulously recovered and he now has six victories compared to the five for Rosberg. The German will be aware that Hamilton faces a grid penalty for going beyond the permitted number of changes to the engine parts.

Lewis Hamilton f1

Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton has had a close fight with teammate Rosberg throughout the season and it seems like a fight made for the season finale. Separated by 19 points, it does not take a lot of effort from Rosberg to get past Hamilton. Yet, the infighting within the camp has only served to keep the title race going. Mercedes are clearly far superior than any other team on the grid. The fact that Hamilton has been able to turn a points deficit into a 19-point advantage will give him immense confidence going into the rest of the season.

Daniel Ricciardo

Daniel Ricciardo

Daniel Ricciardo may have yet to win a race this season, but he has been keeping in touch with the leaders throughout the campaign. He trails leader Lewis Hamilton by 84 points in defeat would take an extremely optimistic person to consider Ricciardo as a potential title winner from this position. Still, that does not seem to be stopping the Australian from doing well.

The Italian Grand Prix 2019 is expected to be as exciting as ever. It is scheduled on August 31 and it takes its place as the 15th race of the season. Midway through the F1 calendar, little drivers’ or constructors’ championships have been decided at this stage. However, this race often sets the standard for the remainder of the season. Teams come into the race after a four-week break. Lewis Hamilton went into the break and a positive fashion after having turned a 43-point deficit into a 19-point advantage over Nico Rosberg.

GP Monza is considered as one of the fastest circuits in the F1 calendar, although the emergence of several new race tracks could change this fact. Even then, it is an undeniable truth that cars do not require a lot of downforce since winning is all about having a greater top speed. The circuit also offers excellent opportunities to overtake – none more so than the first corner and spielautomaten online spielen echtgeld.

One thing is for sure: there's fire in Mercedes' camp and the rivalry between Hamilton and Rosberg will give us an impressive race against a background of intrigue and drama. The twitchiness at Mercedes shows that although they have issues with each other, their rivalry will make them do their best to win. Our outcome is on the winner of the Drivers' Championship. We're sure that either Nico Rosberg or Lewis Hamilton will win it, so our bet is Hamilton.

Red Bull's driver can score some big points here at Monza, and although he's got the power, he needs the skills. This is a very long shot, and it could be a great backup bet, but don't risk everything on this one. You never know what can happen and Red Bull is far behind in the F1 standings, but Daniel Ricciardo will definitely get to the podium.

It's a long shot, but it can come with significant wins if you take the risk. Vettel has won the Italian Grand Prix in 2014 and has the recipe to success, he only has to put in the work and surpass Hamilton or Rosberg. Ricciardio is great, too, but he doesn't have a history at Monza. F1 betting tips are all about details, and Vettel's experience on the track can actually make a difference.
